Wedding Filming

Many couples have had a negative experience in regard to ‘wedding video’ at a friends or family members wedding finding it highly intrusive on the day itself and cringeable in regards to the resulting production.

We decided to do something about this 6-7 years ago after repeated ‘negative experiences’ ourselves and so created our own bespoke ‘wedding filming’ service as an extension to our wedding photography.

Our Cinematografy (as we prefer to term it) service is generally booked as an extension of our wedding photography service, though can sometimes be booked as an alternative in certain circumstances.

Firehorse Photography produce ‘shorter’ exquisite filmed productions based around a mainly discrete observational/documentary approach that is designed to integrate fully with our wedding photography service or even act as a standalone service.

By ‘shorter’ we mean productions that last more like 15-20 minutes than the 2-3 hour marathons that bore everyone to tears.

Most of the wedding films featured below are in 3 chapters (mainly to help with on-line loading) and mix still photography with movie footage in a blend sometimes referred to as ‘fusion’ or ‘convergence’.
We did not originate this approach, but are one of the few true specialists in the UK currently offering an integrated/compatible wedding photography and filming service.
