Rebecca & Gary’s wedding was very much the quintessential ‘English Summer Wedding’ and other than perhaps a wedding in France, there’s nothing we like to photograph and film more!
All the ingredients were there; getting ready at parents house/the family home (check), ceremony at the local church (check), arrival and travel by 1950′s Jag (check), plenty of Summer flowers and a few ‘vintage’ details (check), drinks reception and marquee back at the family home/farm (check), Pimms/croquet on the lawn (check), Miss Marple lurking in the bushes attempting to solve the murder of Colonel Mustard (well maybe not), string quartet etc, and the sun shone as promised all day, – overall, very much the kind of wedding that floats our boat!
Rebecca wore a limited edition dress (Summer of Love) by Charlotte Balbier sourced from The Bridal Boutique, Leeds with the groom electing for a suit by Paul Smith.
Classic Wedding Cars of Saxilby supplied the beautiful white Jaguar and the floristry was all taken care of by Rebecca (and her team of helpers) herself having imported all the flowers from the Netherlands.
Other suppliers involved on the day were; the groom’s Mum (cake), Mudfords of Retford (marquee), Jocasta’s of Lincoln (catering), KJ (disco), Mission Blue Motown Act (evening band).
The couple honeymooned in Sorrento, Italy.
