We usually provide photography for weddings at Swinton Park anything between 3 to 5 times per annum.
The wedding of Hannah & Travis was the 1st of our 4 weddings booked at the venue this year.
Hannah wore a Maggie Sottero wedding dress sourced from the Harrogate Wedding Lounge and arrived at church just after the day’s rain had finally stopped, by white 1957 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud from Keith Snowden Wedding Cars of Ripon.
The wedding was very much a family affair with seemingly half the family involved in preparing all the flowers in church just prior to the wedding, stationary by Aunt Claire and the cake provided by Aunt Bronnie.
There were two cakes actually because for Hannah, it was a special day on two counts; – first it was her wedding day and second, her birthday!
During the ceremony, music was provided by Katie on her flute and the St. Aidens school choir and during the reception, entertainment was provided by the Gaslight Jazz band.
Prior to Hannah and Travis’s first dance, the guests were treated to another family member performing, – champion Irish dancer Laura followed by a spectacular firework display.
