The weddings showcased in this section as ‘Featured Venues’ are in no way exhaustive in regard to all the venues we have worked at, rather a selection from the last 24 months that we have used as a basis for this website. So if your venue has not yet been featured, it may very well be that we HAVE been/worked there, just not as recently as some other venues…or it could be we have not worked there yet, but are looking forward to doing so!

So what do we prefer, – to go back to the same venue time and time again, or visit new ones?

Well a mixture actually, but other than a few exceptions, we’d take the ‘new’ venue over one we might have worked at many times before.

There is a common misconception that it’s important/essential for a photographer to have worked at a venue before.
This simply is not true as a good photographer working at a brand new venue for the very first time will always produce better results than a mediocre photographer who works there on a regular basis.
So recommended venue lists…we’d take them with a good pinch of salt as they are a mixed bag!

Many if not most of our favourite weddings, photo-shoots and wedding films have been produced at new venues as new venues inspire us.
It’s as simple as that, – inspiration. There are no ‘secret spots or places’ that are revealed after multiple visits, only good photographers…and not so good photographers.
With every enquiry we receive we are looking for venues that inspire us as much as couples that inspire us.
